33 他認得，就說：這是我兒子的外衣。有惡獸把他吃了，約瑟被撕碎了！撕碎了！34 雅各便撕裂衣服，腰間圍上麻布，為他兒子悲哀了多日。35 他的兒女都起來安慰他，他卻不肯受安慰，說：我必悲哀著下陰間，到我兒子那裡。約瑟的父親就為他哀哭。

創世記 37:33-35

25 他們從埃及上去，來到迦南地、他們的父親雅各那裡，26 告訴他說：約瑟還在，並且作埃及全地的宰相。雅各心裡冰涼，因為不信他們。27 他們便將約瑟對他們說的一切話都告訴了他。他們父親雅各又看見約瑟打發來接他的車輛，心就甦醒了。28 以色列說：罷了！罷了！我的兒子約瑟還在，趁我未死以先，我要去見他一面。

創世記 45:25-28

以色列帶著一切所有的，起身來到別是巴，就獻祭給他父親以撒的神。2 夜間，神在異象中對以色列說：雅各！雅各！他說：我在這裡。3 神說：我是神，就是你父親的神。你下埃及去不要害怕，因為我必使你在那裡成為大族。4 我要和你同下埃及去，也必定帶你上來；約瑟必給你送終 ( 原文作將手按在你的眼睛上 ) 。5 雅各就從別是巴起行。以色列的兒子們使他們的父親雅各和他們的妻子、兒女都坐在法老為雅各送來的車上。

創世記 46:1-5

28 我若靠著神的靈趕鬼，這就是神的國臨到你們 . 了。29 人怎能進壯士家裡，搶奪他的家具呢？除非先捆住那壯士，才可以搶奪他的家財。

30 不與我相合的，就是敵我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。31 所以我告訴你們：人一切的罪和褻瀆的話都可得赦免，惟獨褻瀆聖靈，總不得赦免。32 凡說話干犯人子的，還可得赦免；惟獨說話干犯聖靈的，今世來世總不得赦免。33 你們或以為樹好，果子也好；樹壞，果子也壞；因為看果子就可以知道樹。

馬太福音 12:28-33

31 不可嫉妒強暴的人，也不可選擇他所行的路。

32 因為，乖僻人為耶和華所憎惡；正直人為他所親密。

箴言 3:31-32

現在讓你有一個安靜的時刻，給聖靈一個空間，讓主耶穌可以藉着剛才讀過的經文，親自對你説話。

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 雅各的28年屬靈昏迷，不再是以色列!

Today's catch made me shivered and shocked!

I found out something in the life of Jacob that I can't believe that could happen!

Jacob experienced God many times, God changed his name to Israel two times and commanded him to go back to Canaan, the Promised Land God gave to Abraham and Isaac. Up to that time, Jacob could be able to listen to God's voice. But, right away, his beloved wife Rachel died and everything changed, that was around 1903B.C. In that year, Jacob stopped listening to God's voice and his whole family was broken! His ten sons wanted to kill their brother Joseph and then sold him to go to Egypt. It's like leaving God, then his family was broken!

Until he knew his beloved son Joseph was not dead and became the Prime Minister of Egypt, Genesis 45:27 says:
"the spirit of their father Jacob revived!"

That was around 1875B.C., 28 years later!

Then one verse right after Genesis 45:27, in 45:28, the name Israel came back 23 times until the last chapter of Genesis, chapter 50. 6 chapter 23 times!

But, from Genesis 32:27 - 45:27, since the first time God gave Jacob a new name Israel, the name Israel only appears 13 time. 14 chapters!

When we received Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, our life is being revived like Jacob to become Israel. But, it is so easy for us to leave God because of all kinds of reasons and return to be our previous old self, not like a Christlike disciple of Jesus anymore!

The father of Israelites needed 28 years to have his spirit revived! And, he needed 28 years to worship God and made sacrifices to Him again! Then, God spoke to him again and gave him the promise of "God with you"!

Oh, I received a new term from the Holy Spirit today: Spiritual Coma.

Jacob was in a Spiritual Coma for 28 years!!!

Today's Matthew 12:24-32 Jesus describes Satan as "strong man". This strong man can enter into human souls to take possession of that soul as a man broke in a house. Only with the power of the Holy Spirit that that house can be taken again by Jesus and people's souls "revived" just like how Jacob was being revived to become Israel again!

Jacob angry against God to take away his beloved wife, and then his beloved son, because of that Jacob cut relationship with God! Not Israel anymore but Jacob!

But because of his close relationship with God before, his son Joseph learned that from him and Joseph had a very intimate relationship with God and had the gift of prophecy and many other gifts from the Holy Spirit. Joseph, by the power of the Holy Spirit, kicked out the "strong man Satan" and became a powerful servant of God and the second-in-command of Egypt. And, because of the power of the Holy Spirit, Jacob was being revived as the same as the prodigal son became conscious, and he became Israel again!

被主耶穌更新未，甦醒未?

你是舊我的雅各，抑或是新人以色列呢?

親愛的主耶穌，

幫助我不會被撒但這壯土擄走離開祢使我在屬靈昏迷中，使我願意每天與祢同行，有聖靈恩膏，被祢使用去為更多人帶來醫治、釋放和拯救，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。
